The Nazareth District has three elementary, one middle and one high school. Pen Argly has one elementary school. The teacher student ratio is 15 full time teachers for every 16 students. The overall average for Pennsylvania is 15 students per full time teacher.
Nazareth’s elementary schools are Bushkill Elementary Lower Nazareth Elementary , and Shafer Elementary and Plainfield Elementary is the Pen Argyl District. Nazareth Area Middle School teaches grades and the Nazareth Area High School is for grades. A new middle school is scheduled to open in the 2009-2010 school session.
